You only need to provide a few documents — we’ll handle the rest.
Trademark Check
Before starting the registration, we’ll conduct a free trademark search to make sure your mark meets all legal requirements and doesn’t violate registration rules. We also check it against the official Chinese trademark database to ensure it doesn’t infringe on existing intellectual property rights in China.
Initial Consultation
Step 1
Preparation for Registration
We’ll help you prepare and sign the complete set of documents for registration — including your logo (in high-quality black-and-white or color format) and business license. We’ll also translate all documents into English and Chinese. In addition, it’s necessary to select the list of goods and services according to the Nice Classification (NCL). The base registration fee covers up to 10 items within one NCL class. You can register as many classes and product names as your business requires.
Preparation Stage
Step 2
Registration Procedure
We submit the complete set of documents to the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA). The initial review and acceptance of your application take about one month. The registration process includes two main stages: first, the preliminary examination (which takes several months), followed by a three-month publication period to allow for any objections from other market participants. If no objections are filed, your trademark is officially registered, and you receive an electronic registration certificate in English, valid for 10 years.

Step 3
What do you gain?
Brand Control
With a registered trademark, you gain the legal right to prohibit others from using your brand — including counterfeit manufacturers, dishonest distributors, and competitors. In case of infringement, you can file a claim in a Chinese court or request customs authorities to block the illegal import or export of counterfeit goods. Registration also gives you access to administrative protection through agencies such as the AMR (Administration for Market Regulation).
Legal Protection
A registered trademark in China is your official protection on one of the world’s largest markets. It confirms your exclusive right to use the brand within selected classes of goods and services, preventing competitors from using similar or identical marks. This is especially important in China, where the “first-to-file” principle applies — not “first-to-use.”
Reputation and Investment Appeal
Having a registered trademark increases trust among partners and customers, demonstrating your company’s credibility and commitment to long-term success in the market.
Commercial Advantages
Registration allows you to legally operate in China under your own brand — sign licensing and franchise agreements, protect your interests in e-commerce (for example, on Tmall,JD, or Taobao), and enter platforms such as 1688 or Douyin. Without registration, your brand may be rejected or even registered by third parties without your consent.
